Camera system

3-axis gimbal camera

The DJI Mavic Air is the most portable drone of DJI. It is equipped with an 3-axis mechanical gimbal. The gimbal stabilisation system has reduced the angled vibrations to 0.005º. The system is set up in a triangular way and thereby guarantees stable footage.

Camera

The camera of the DJI Mavic Air is an onboard camera with 1/2.3" CMOS sensor and f/2.8 lens. This is similar to an 35mm focal length of 24mm and allows you to take high quality pictures.

Video & slow-motion

Capture every second in 4K30fps in 100 Mbps in UHD quality. The DJI Mavic Air also supports a slow-motion recording mode: recording footage in 1080p120fps.

32 MP Sphere Panorama's

The Mavic Air offers besides the horizontal, vertical and 180º panorama’s also the possibility to record Sphere Panorama in 32 MP. The intelligent software will stich 25 separate photo’s together in less than 8 seconds and will show you a crystal clear panorama.

You can use the DJI Goggles to step into the Sphere Panorama.

HDR Photo's

The newest intelligent HDR algorithm helps the DJI Mavic Air to find the perfect light exposure to your footage. The algorithm will recognize under- and overexposured areas in your footage and will adjust the settings the exposure automatically. This results into a smooth transition of highlights into shadows. Combine this with the DSP accelerator and you shoot pictures even more efficient than ever before.

The DJI Mavic Air is equipped with a high-density lithium batteries, which allow you to fly for 21 minutes straight. Change gear and use the Sport Modus on your DJI Mavic Air to reach speeds of up to 68.4 km/u!

FOC and Propulsion System

By using the FOC sinusshaped propulsion architecture, allows the DJI Mavic Air to communicate more efficiently with its motors. The propulsion system guarantees safety and durability, even at altitudes of 5.000 meter above sealevel.

8GB Internal Storage

The DJI Mavic Air has 8GB internal storage that can be extended with an Micro SD card. Export your files from your Mavic Air to your PC by simply using the USB 3.0 Type C port.

ActiveTrack
ActiveTrack allows you to strack up to 16 different subjects at the same time. It is up to you which 16 these will be. The improved ActiveTrack increased the amount of trackable subjects. You can now use it to track running, jumping or cycling subjects.
QuickShots
QuickShot has 6 different modes: Rocket, Dronie, Circle, Helix, Asteroid and Boomerang. Select one of these modes by simply pressing the desired mode in the DJI Go 4 App. Moreover, the DJI Go 4 App allows you to share your QuickShot immediately on social media.
SmartCapture
Fun, easy and intuitive:the DJI Mavic Air takes off from the palm of your hand. Control the drone with sample hand gestures or tell it to take a picture of video.

FlightAutonomy 2.0

FlightAutonomy 2.0 is the result of the powerful vision sensing system of the DJI Mavic Air. The drone is able to detect obstacles in 3 different directions (front, side and behind). FlightAutonomy guarnatees a safe flight.

Improved WI-FI Video Transmission System

A new Wi-FI transmission system that supports a double frequency band of 2.4 and 5.8Ghz and a 720p live view up to 4km.
